                "Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and Tunnels Beaches was just the perfect venue for us.

                The venue is stunning, the staff are so helpful and the fact we got to have all of our moments outside in the sunshine next
                to the sea was everything to us.

                I had followed Tunnels on Instagram for a while and when I got engaged, I already knew it was going to be the perfect place
                for Sean & I to get married. We went to visit and fell in love instantly. We booked Runnymede & Woodlands houses along with
                Tunnels and honestly they were the best places we have EVER stayed. We had a fantastic 'night before' the wedding day,
                celebrating with 28 of our family and friends at the accommodation which were perfectly set up for socialising.

                The morning of the wedding we had a swim in the ocean at Tunnels which set us up ready for our big day. The staff at Tunnels
                were really organised and helpful so there was no stress in the morning. Their FAQs section on their website is invaluable!

                Getting married listening to the waves in the background was just incredibly calming and a perfect start to our wedding day.
                It was a chill day from start to finish and we even got to have our first dance outside as the sun set. It was truly magical.

                Our guests are still talking about it being in Ibiza or Marbella! Honestly, all our family, friends and us had the best day and we
                can't wait to visit again soon!

                Having the view of the private beach during our ceremony and wedding breakfast was just breathtaking and with the sun

                We stayed in The Courtyard and The Bath House accommodation and it was so lovely having all our loved ones staying together

                "My husband & I got married at the beautiful Tunnels on the 7th July 2024. We don't live in Devon, didn't have any huge plans
                to get married in Devon, but after a quick Google search, I saw the website and immediately knew that was our Venue!!

                We booked our date without seeing Tunnels and in fact only visited it once but that was all we needed. It was PERFECT!

                I think it speaks for itself and doesn't need 'bigging up' at all, but honestly everything about Tunnels is simply amazing, from
                the first steps up to the Tunnel showing the history, to the accommodation (we had The Courtyard & The Bath House between
                our 2 families), to coming out of the Tunnels to see THOSE VIEWS, the venue itself & the brilliant food and staff.

                I cannot praise everyone & everything enough. Our guests loved it too and we are all still talking about it & hopefully will be for

                "We got married on the 8th June 2024 and it was better than we ever could have expected. Jamie and the Tunnels team
                were so helpful in the lead up to the big day and then on the actual day Jacs and Naomi (the wedding co-ordinators) made
                the whole day flawless!

                We had rented the accommodation next door to the venue (The Courtyard and The Bath House) which we would highly
                recommend doing as it allowed us to host an event the night before for both families to meet and get the awkward
                conversations out the way so on the actual day everyone was already acquainted. The accommodation is perfectly designed
                and was a great setting for pictures on the morning of the wedding.

                The wedding day itself was perfect in every way – the day before had been very rainy but the sun came out for us and made
                it even better. We all felt like we weren’t in the UK but on holiday instead. Neither of us felt at all stressed on the day as
                everything was so seamlessly organised by the Tunnels team that allowed the day to flow organically.

                The food was incredible with an amazing assortment of options to choose from and all dietary requirements considered.
                Having the beach right there was wonderful for our pictures and for our guests to explore. Highly recommend Tunnels Beaches

                "Our "Elopement Package" wedding at Tunnels Beaches in June 2024 was more than we could have hoped for. What made us
                choose the venue - having discovered it on an Ilfracombe Sea Safari - was the fact that it was a beach venue (I had always set
                my heart on a beach wedding), its obvious and unique beauty, the fact that it is dog friendly, and that the package included
                2 nights' on-site accommodation for the entire wedding party. The latter was particulary special for us as our families had
                never met prior to the wedding and this "mini-break" presented a unique opportunity for them to do so in a way that was
                really special for everyone.

                The on-site accommodation was really impressive; we were in The Woodlands, but were reliably informed by all those who
                supported our wedding (florist, photographer, hair+make-up), that they are all equally terrific

                Jamie is an owner/Director who obviously cares deeply about his business and the service his wedding parties get, and ensures
                that all angles are covered and all concerns allayed right up to the day itself - when his very capable managers take over.
                You cannot be disappointed by what is very much a "destination wedding venue" at home. It is stunning.

                "My now husband and I got married at Tunnels Beaches in April 2024 after visiting the venue (the only one we visited) back
                in September 2023. As soon as we arrived at the venue we were instantly sold by the dramatic cave tunnel entrance which
                would become the aisle and the beautiful terrace where we'd get married surrounded by sea, cliffs, family and friends.

                Jamie (the owner) and his team were a dream to work with throughout the planning process, with Jamie often replying to
                any silly question we had within the hour, no matter the time or day.

                We booked The Courtyard onsite accommodation too which we would recommend as well as it's beautiful, roomy and the
                perfect spot to host a paella party the night before!

                The wedding day went off without hitch and despite rain all morning we were so lucky to be able to get married outside on
                the terrace. The food was incredible and the venue staff made every effort to make things light, easy and run smoothly.

                We really hope someone we know chooses to get married here as we'd love to return. The town itself is lovely too and
                provides the perfect backdrop for friends and family to enjoy a lovely weekend in Devon. We'd totally recommend the
                circular walk followed by the Wetherspoons roof terrace the next day to shake off the hangover too!

                "We got married at Tunnels Beaches on the 4th April 2024. From the moment we came across Tunnels Beaches online when
                looking for a wedding venue, we absolutely loved it. After going to view it, we knew it was definitely the one. The venue
                and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful. It really doesn't compare to any other venue.

                During the planning process in the lead up to our wedding, Jamie and his team were fantastic. We had a lot of questions
                and a few last minute changes that did not seem to phase Jamie at all. He made the whole process so easy for us!

                We booked The Courtyard and The Bath House to stay in and we couldn't be happier that we did. They are connected which
                was perfect for all our family and friends. We had a Paella night the night before our wedding where the chef from the venue
                came to the houses to cook a delicious Paella. Everyone loved it.

                On the day of our wedding, everything ran so smoothly. We genuinely cannot fault the team at Tunnels Beaches and we are
                beyond grateful for how hard they all worked to make our wedding day so special. Typically, it started raining the moment
                I walked down the aisle, but the tunnels team were quickly on hand with umbrellas for our guests. Sean and I said to each
                other after the day that we didn't notice the staff at tunnels hand out umbrellas, take away the ceremony chairs, move the
                tables to set up the dance floor etc as everything was done so smoothly and completely without any stress or disruption to us.
                We couldn't have asked for the day to run any better! The staff also packed up any belongings we had left at the venue for
                us to collect the next day.

                Thank you so much to the whole team of staff that work at Tunnels Beaches. We honestly cannot thank you enough for making

                "Tunnels is just an incredible venue! It looks amazing in photos but you have to go and visit it to see how cool it really is.
                All of our guests loved our venue and we had so many comments on how beautiful it was! It truly is unbelievable!

                Jamie and the team were always really quick to reply to emails and super helpful in accommodating our choices and ideas to
                make our day really special.

                The weather was 50/50 on the day and we were planning to have our ceremony outside. In the end, we went for it and chose
                to get married outside. The team at Tunnels, had inside set up, just in case as well! Luckily they did, as it rained half way
                through our ceremony! We all rushed inside and finished off upstairs! If you’re worried about the weather, don’t be! Inside is
                amazing as well, and you have both options!

                Food was so good- everyone absolutely loved it! There were options for everyone and more than enough to go around.

                The accommodation onsite is really amazing. We made a weekend of it, and it was so lovely to have most of your guests on
                site with us for the weekend, it really made it extra special. The houses are lush as well, and it’s really worth it!!

                Overall, everything was brilliant and it was the most perfect venue for our wedding. If we could do everything again we would,
                and we wouldn’t change a thing."

                "We got married at Tunnels Beaches in October 2023 and asides a chilly sea breeze, it was everything we hoped it would be.

                When we began searching for a venue back in 2022, we based our search on locations we hold dear to us, mountains and
                coastline. It didn't take us long to realise that Tunnels was the place for us! We booked the venue without a viewing as we
                could see it was everything we wanted for a unique, relaxed and memorable wedding day and I'm do pleased we did!

                The day itself was perfect. Everything we pictured came to life, it's just a shame the day goes so quickly.

                Our guests are still saying how stunning and different the venue was, which made their travelling efforts from Essex all
                worthwhile. Our photo's turned out beautifully, the backdrop is unbeatable and the mood and rustic vibe the venue offers
                is breathtaking.

                Food was super tasty; everyone enjoyed their meal and the staff coped amazingly well catering for all our guests needs.

                We had two of the Tunnels houses for our wedding (The Woodlands & Runnymede House) and both were stunning and
                comfortable. The decor is so unique and more, which also made for great pictures.

                Big thank you to all the Tunnels team, each and everyone of you helped us when needed and made sure our day went as

                "After deciding we wanted a venue by the sea we were so excited to find Tunnels, and on our first viewing we booked right
                away after falling in love with the place. After two years of planning our day it was everything we wanted and more – we had
                major wedding blues leaving this gorgeous venue.

                Jamie and the team where great from the get-go with constant email confirmation and nothing was an inconvenience, they
                were only too happy to make our vision a reality, even having our beloved dog at the service. All the staff were incredible

                two years leading up to the big event.

                Our wedding day (15th September 2023) was spectacular. The weather was perfect, the venue looked amazing, the food was
                delicious and plentiful, and there were so many special moments, which we have enjoyed going back over in our professional

                "Firstly, we want to thank all your wonderful staff for all their hard work. Every single person we spoke to on the day made us
                feel at ease. It was brilliant to put on such a big occasion but feel so relaxed, and that really was down to all the people onsite.

                The preparation towards the wedding was also excellent, with all questions being answered in depth and we never felt like we
                couldn't reach out with other thoughts! The fact that we were able to make small changes to the drinks package meant the
                world to us.

                The day after the wedding, we were grateful that our stuff had been moved to the room nearer the accommodation, it made

                The accommodation was excellent! It truly felt like a home away from home, but big enough to have all our friends and family

                We really loved the fact that we could dance outside, and that the sound system allowed us to feel like the DJ was outside with
                us, I can't imagine many other places have this facility! It was honestly like a scene from a movie dancing in the moonlight,

                "Will & I just wanted to say thank you so much to the incredible Tunnels Beaches team. We couldn't have asked for a more
                perfect day! From the moment we booked the venue, right the way through to when we checked out the morning after the
                wedding, the Tunnels team including all the office staff, the venue staff, accommodation cleaners etc, were incredible.
                I live fairly local so had visited the venue a few times and nothing was ever too much to ask, even with all my last minute
                questions and requests!

                The morning of the wedding the venue host came to the accommodation and talked me through everything and answered all
                my nervous questions! She made me feel very relaxed and everything went incredibly smoothly. They closed off the tunnels
                to the public for when you walk down towards the aisle and it was just the most incredible feeling.

                The rest of the day also went very smooth, the venue staff just had everything under control and nothing got delayed. Even the
                change over of staff from day to night was super easy and the venue itself is just the most stunning place, even at night! I was
                lucky enough to have dry weather but even in the rain (or storms which is when we first saw the venue and booked), it is just
                the most incredible, special, unique place. Most of our guests came from Ireland, Northern England and Scotland and couldn't
                get over how beautiful it was. And we can't forget about the BEAUTIFUL food!

                It's a day we will cherish forever, and I'm so glad we live local so we can come back and visit our new favourite place over the

                Our wedding with you was just over a week ago and what feels like a dream is now actually beginning to sink in and we wanted
                to share our sincere thanks. From the minute we arrived to stop in The Bath House and The Courtyard we were greeted with
                a warm welcome and truly beautiful accommodation, with lovely little touches such as prosecco and chocolate, that we were
                very grateful of. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed stopping in the accommodation and EVERYBODY was so complementary about
                what a wonderful place to stay it was.

                I was a little nervous about getting the venue set up and things all going as we had imagined throughout the day but all of your
                lovely staff were absolutely brilliant in not only reassuring us but getting everything done exactly how we had always imagined,
                keeping us informed of what was happening throughout the day and liaising with our suppliers behind the scenes to ensure
                things ran very smoothly.

                Many of our guests commented on the day and have done since on how brilliant the venue was but specifically how lovely and

                Pimm’s to us amongst all our guests! Naomi kindly carried my plate to the table so I could get my dress up the stairs! A very
                kind young man went out his way to organise a taxi and then walk my Auntie and Nan to the top of the Tunnels to be able to
                bring the wheelchair back down (which again was very kindly and usefully provided by you to help make my Nan’s day so much
                easier). During the final songs on the dancefloor a barman held the camera up for a whole song and videoed one of the magical
                moments of the day. To organise the sparklers, s’more station, cake cutting, first dance and all the other logistical parts of
                the day so smoothly for us and our guests to enjoy was very much appreciated. Not only that, but we woke up as a newly
                married couple thinking we had to clear and tidy the venue to find everything was organised into the storage room ready to be
                packed straight into cars, we were absolutely over the moon and sincerely grateful.

                Finally we have to pay a huge compliment to the chef for the food, it really was outstanding! ALL of our guests told us how
                amazing it was with lots saying it was ‘the best wedding dinner they have ever had’. And if that is not enough, my uncle:
                a Michelin star chef went down to the kitchen to specifically thank your chef on such a wonderful range of food as he was
                very impressed.

                I am sure a lot of what we have described above, you do day in day out and may see it as part of the job, but to us the polite
                and friendly approach from all of your staff and everything they did for us really was above and beyond to make the day so
                much more enjoyable and memorable at the most wonderful place.
